Hi All,
Mexican food is one of my favorites! Delicious Healthy Mexican food is even better. Best of all is healthy Mexican food available 24/7! Super Mex delivers on all of these.
Super Mex took over for another local ill-fated Mexican restaurant, bar and grill with gaming in my area of Southwest Las Vegas a bit ago. I never checked into their menu until recently when we got a coupon mailer. Once I saw that they had a lite menu, and low fat cheese, whole wheat tortillas, low fat pinto beans and low fat cilantro rice were all available on the menu to substitute in other dishes, I was ready to give it a go!
The inside of the Super Mex in Southwest Las Vegas is nicely done with casual, contemporary style and high-walled, colorful booths for more privacy. Our server was very attentive and pleasant and the food was delicious. They start off the meal with the largest tortilla chips I have ever seen! They're not low fat or whole grain unfortunately, but you have to try at least a couple since you can save calories and fat on other parts of the meal.
I customized cheese enchiladas using all the healthy choices mentioned above, and my husband had the light chicken burrito from the Super Mex lite menu. Both were absolutely delicious and flavorful without all the fat and calories of typical Mexican restaurant fare. Between the 24/7 delicious healthy Mexican food options, nice atmosphere and great service, you can't go wrong eating at Super Mex.
Super Mex has two locations--Southwest Las Vegas (15 minutes from The Las Vegas Strip) and on the East side of Las Vegas. Check out the menu and get directions at: http://www.supermexnv.com/
