Frank Sinatra Is Again The Toast Of The Town In Las Vegas
Hi All,
May 14th is Frank Sinatra Day! To honor the memory of Frank Sinatra--can it really be 10 years since he passed away--most of the major Las Vegas hotel-casinos along the Las Vegas Strip and nearby will be posting a special tribute to Frank Sinatra beginning at 12 a.m.
Participating are Bally's, The Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Circus Circus, Excalibur, The Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, Monte Carlo, New York-New York, The Palms, The Sahara, The Mirage, Treasure Island and Wynn. In Downtown Las Vegas, The Golden Nugget and The Fremont Street Experience will be involved.
Today, a special commemorative Frank Sinatra postage stamp was officially issued, and post offices at The Bellagio and Wynn are selling the first-day issue Frank Sinatra stamp and other related Frank Sinatra merchandise.
Frank Sinatra was a major force in bringing worldwide acclaim to Las Vegas and its entertainment, especially as a member of The Rat Pack, and helped Steve Wynn finance and publicize The Golden Nugget back in the day.
TIP: Why not check out the Las Vegas hotel marquees and burn some calories at the same time by walking The Strip at least one way? If you get tired, take the Las Vegas Monorail back (locals ride for $1) or The Deuce for $2 ($1 if you are a child or Senior).
