Las Vegas Freebie Free Tai Chi Anyone?
Hi All,
Whether you're a Las Vega local, or are just in town as a Las Vegas visitor, you can get your Chi on for free!
The Barbara Greenspun Womenscare Centers, which are affiliated with St. Rose Dominican Hospitals has free Tai Chi classes at the womenscare centers in Southwest Las Vegas across from the new St. Rose San Martin campus and in Henderson.
I had wanted to try Tai Chi for awhile, since it is supposed to be a way to create physical, emotional and spiritual balance and promote relaxation through its gentle fluid movements. I recently got a mailing from the Barbara Greenspun Womenscare Center, and noticed that they had these free tai chi classes.
I figured the price was certainly right!
This was my second week at the free beginner Tai Chi class across from the new St. Rose San Martin campus, and while week one I felt pretty spastic, some of it was starting to click today.
The instructor, Stella Huang, is very pleasant, patient and encouraging, and my Southwest Las Vegas Tai Chi class was a small one mixes with beginners like me, and veterans who had been doing this Tai Chi class 6 months or more.
There are Las Vegas Tai Chi classes for three levels of beginners, intermediate and advanced in Henderson. All free! This has to be the best kept secret in town! Just show up--but be sure to save a spot for me!
Other free and low cost Health & Wellness and Exercise & Fitness classes are also offered on both sides of Las Vegas from The Barbara Greenspun Womenscare Centers. Check them out!
