The Bellagio Fall Display at the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens was new to me. I'd previously gone to the Bellagio Holiday display as an annual holiday free fun thing to do. How did I know the Bellagio actually transforms their Conservatory and Botanical Gardens six times a year? It was a secret to us locals!
Like its other exhibits, the Bellagio Fall Display uses flowers and various parts of plants, much like Southern California's Rose Bowl Parade, to create its gorgeous displays. I guess it's The Bellagio's way of doing Fall foliage since we really don't have any here in the dessert. This Fall Display focused on several painstakingly created twisty magical trees as shown in this photo.
There were also several humongous pumpkins--the one below is 750 pounds. When I showed my Mom the picture, she said "that's a great way to look skinny--take your picture next to a 750 pound pumpkin!" Good one, Mom!
I also enjoyed the irony of this photo of a scarecrow with a store's display window showing its winter holiday displays in plain view, as if the holiday season was breathing down its neck.
I enjoyed the soothing sounds of the water rushing over this beautiful waterfall tree--they came in both blue and red lighting, but the blue was especially peaceful.
This covered bridge reminded me of some of the ones I saw on a trip to Iowa a couple of years back.
Even throughout the lobby and shopping passageways, there were touches of Fall, like these glass leaves hanging below various skylights.
So whether you're a Las Vegas local, or a Las Vegas visitor who should be taking a break from the gambling tables (sorry Las Vegas economy, I know we want people gambling), it's worth a stop over at The Bellagio--always a classy, free and 24/7 thing to do in Las Vegas.
And that's the Vegas Inside Scoop on The Bellagio Conservatory and Gardens Fall Display.
